Round Up- The ICWF Grand Weekend

  The International Convention of the Wedding Fraternity, famously abbreviated as ICWF, concluded its 2017 edition on 23rd July, and the event was one of a kind. Held at Andaz by Hyatt, Aerocity (New Delhi) for 3 days, the event witnessed Crème de la Crème of the wedding industry with speaker sessions by notable leaders of diverse verticals. [caption id="attachment_4293" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Day 1 - ICWF[/caption]   The event kick started on 21st July with registrations of the delegates, networking sessions as well as malt tasting by Beam Suntory for a relaxing hour. The second day of the event witnessed industry’s biggest leaders sharing nuggets of wisdom with the audience. It started with Samit Garg, President, ICWF, addressing the crowd, followed by Colin Cowie’s speaker session on lifestyle in wedding design.   [caption id="attachment_4294" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Samit Garg addressing the audience[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_4295" align="aligncenter" width="375"] Colin Cowie on lifestyle in wedding design[/caption]   Also watch -   Huge names like Ameya Dabli and Nitin Sood came along as the panelists for speaker session that imparted wisdom for the audience in attendance. The audience was then thrilled to see Shiamak Davar, discussing theatre in Bollywood formats and held an interactive session with the people. Day 2 also witnessed Baisakhi Ghosh telling about inspirations from east and Emin Cakmak telling us about the Treasure of Balkan. Honbl’ Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mr. Vijay Goel too attended the event and addressed the audience on importance of weddings and to explore nook and corners of our beautiful country for out of the box wedding destinations. ICWF also lived up to its ritual of setting up the winner’s table, and this year Ankita Chugh & Vijay Arora joined the bandwagon. From wedding planners to best wedding destination, from makeup artist to best food and art display, each category got a deserving winner in gold, silver and bronze!
